There is a lot that Canada needs to do to fix the problems that are currently happening and to reconcile. Reconciliation for residential schools has been something that Indigenous peoples have been asking for for generations. The TRC created the 94 calls to action as a way for the Canadian government to reconcile for the pain and suffering it has caused Indigenous peoples. The national inquiry similarly made 231 calls for justice, which are a list of action Canada needs to take to stop the genocide of Indigenous women and girls. Additionally, the government needs to prioritize clean drinking water on reserves. There are petitions to sign and charities to donate to that will help lift boil water advisories. As well, there are petitions to sign against the Trans Mountain pipeline.
