Helping With clean Water and Pipelines

Lifting Boiled Water Advisories

To be able to fix the issue surrounding boiled water advisories in Indigenous communities, we need to get the government's attention. The government has taken steps in the right direction on the topic of boiled water advisories. In the past five years many Indigenous communities' boiled water advisories have been lifted. However, there are still 33 communities who have boiled water advisories. Donating money to water plants is a great way to help the community. And well as signing petitions to pressure the government to lift the rest of the advisories. Additionally, educating others about the issue is very important. The more people that know about what is going on means more people who will fight to lift the boiled water advisories.

Stopping Trans Mountain Pipeline

To stop the Trans Mountain pipeline we need to pressure the government. The government needs to know the consequences of the pipeline in order to stop the construction of it. Educating others about what is going on in regard to the pipeline, can be extremely helpful. Petitions are also very important, the government is already very pressured to resolve the controversy with the sheer amount of supporters who stand with the Wet'suwet'en First Nation. More people who are against the pipeline means a greater chance of not having it built.
