If you buy from Indigenous-owned businesses you support that Indigenous person and the community as a whole. Research Prominent Figures
To further educate yourself on not only the problems Indigenous people face but also their cultures. For example, four prominent women in Indigenous history are Buffy Sainte-Marie (Cree), Sacheen Littlefeather (Apache), LaDonna Brave Bull Allard (Lakota), and Ellen Gabriel.

Write A Letter
As an individual you can write a letter to the federal government airing your grievances and making your opinion known. If more people write letters to the federal government or Justin Trudeau the public especially youth can truly get through to those in power.
